The General Directorate for Consumer Protection in North Batinah Governorate has recently launched the initiatives of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, under the patronage of Abdulrahman bin Salem Al Qasmi, Director General of the Directorate and in the presence of a number of directors, their assistants and heads of departments.

 

 

Among the initiatives launched were the "Vision and Mission of the Department", where a simple explanation of the implementation steps was presented, as well as the "Library of the Department" initiative. The "Excellence in Commitment and Discipline" initiative is one of the most prominent of these initiatives, during which a number of employees of the Consumer Services and Market Monitoring Department and an employee of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs were honored.
Khalid bin Ali Al-Alawi, Director of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, explained that this inauguration and recognition comes within the Directorate's agenda, which has taken upon itself to encourage and motivate employees and instill a spirit of competition among them.
Al-Alawi also pointed out that the Directorate always encouraged the initiatives and therefore formed a special committee to follow up its continuity, which had an impact on the development and renewal of concepts and improve the work and update ideas for self-development of the employee.
Al-Alawi added that the recognition initiatives will contribute effectively to motivating employees to do more work and dedication, as it will motivate the honorees to continue giving.

 No one imagined that greed and deviousness would reach such a staggering level that thought exist only in movies and investigative drama shows , yet it became a stark reality when some merchants sought to make a profit on the account of health and safety of the young and adults alike utilizing the God-given intellect that they posses into destruction and evil instead of serving public good , the devious plan used ( Back to school ) season by carving holes inside books and hiding chewing tobacco inside in away from the inspectors notice targeting the younger generation with these destructive materials that effect the health , mind and safety of our kids .
 The Judicial officers noticed that consumers come very frequently to a specific shop during one of the inspection tours which raised their suspicions to strengthening the monitoring and follow up on that matter , students were spotted in the shop as well , the Officers expediently intervened to inspect the shop , the inspection did not reveal anything at first , however , the officers noticed a stack of books and decided to inspect it , surprisingly , they found more than 600 pouches of chewing tobacco on its way to be sold and distributed on consumers and students , the officers immediately issued a violation and referred the case to the General Prosecution to deal with the matter as per the Law
