His Excellency Sulayem bin Ali bin Sulayem Al Hakmani, Chairman of the Consumer Protection Authority met this morning with His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said, Governor of Dhofar and Eng. Hussain bin Hatith Al-Bathari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Salalah separately, as part of his field visit to Dhofar Governorate and various government institutions in the province to serve the public interest.
During the two meetings, the efforts of the authority were explained in the Governorate of Dhofar, especially with regard to the stability of markets and prices as a result of the continuous and intensive monitoring campaigns on the markets and its role in taking the necessary legal measures against violators as well as the preparations for the autumn season and aspects of joint cooperation in this framework.
On the other hand, Al-Hakmani valued the cooperation of various officials in the governorate with the authority and its cadres, who in turn contributed to supporting it to carry out the work entrusted to it and the importance of continuing cooperation and integration between the authority and various government agencies in everything that would achieve the desired goals to protect the consumer and preserve his rights.
