In the framework of the keenness of the Public Authority for Consumer Protection on the safety and health of consumers, the Public Prosecution has published four orders penalty, imposing the fines totaling four hundred RO against four defendants for violating the provisions of Article (8) of the Consumer Protection Law issued by Royal Decree No. 81 / 2002, with the lack of commitment to put goods' prices.
It should be noted that Article (8) of the law states as:
(The consumer has the right to correct information about the product he bought or used or the received service, and in all cases must be found visibly on the item information about the price, production and expiry date, the country of manufacture, the uses and qualities, the main components of the product, the degree of effectiveness, instructions for use and after-sales service, according to the type and nature of goods).
The Authority urges the traders and owners of commercial establishments to comply with the resolutions and laws passed by the public Authority for Consumer Protection.
